Some people feel their astrological sign doesn't really fit their personality. When this happens, an astrologer will typically figure out their rising sign, or ascendent. This is usually very difficult because it is necessary to find the time and place of birth. Luckily, I have found a handy online calculator for rising signs (don't worry, that is not my birthday on there, it's a default):
