He''s asking for $9,500.00

Well, assuming this is a round diamond you're are looking at, I just did a quick search on pricescope.com using your given numbers (I, VS2, 60ish depth and table). These are all GIA and non-flourescent.

It looks like the price yout got quoted is pretty good, although a number of these can be had for under $9,000.
