Does this oval sound terrible?

Hi all,

I am after a warm coloured oval diamond for a slim 14kt rose gold pave solitaire setting. I have a low budget and am not after a super fancy ring, just one which won't have huge flaws that may bother me. I don't mind what carat the diamond is, but I would like the length to be at least 7mm tall, and for the diamond to be taller than round. I don't want an obvious bow tie, but am willing to compromise and allow a small one, given our small budget.

My partner recently found this diamond for quite cheap. Didn't tell me price, but said anywhere between $500-$1500 lol. Stats as follows:
Oval Brilliant
7.11x4.55x2.63
N Colour, very light brown
VS1
Fluorescence: Medium Blue

Do these stats sound okay? We've asked if it's possible to see some photographs of the diamond but haven't heard back from the jeweller yet. Does the colour of the diamond sound awful?

Thanks in advance.

Can't tell you anything without pictures.

Have you seen an N before though?

I haven't seen many diamonds in person. I have seen several online, particularly focusing on warmer colours. I think I would love the N. And I'm starting to like the browner hues to yellow, so maybe I would really like the diamond. I'm worried that the oval is so shallow, maybe there won't be much depth to the sparkle and scintillant?
