Does this make sense???

I have decided on a diamond from James Allen. I live in Canada, but I live very close to the border so I would like the diamond shipped to a Fedex office in Michigan. I would like to have the diamond sent unset so I can make sure that I am happy with it before proceeding. I would then ship it back to James Allen to be set with a GabrielNY setting from Good Old Gold that I would have GOG send to James Allen. Is this diamond the right size for this setting? It makes sense that a 7 mm diamond would fit into a 7mm head halo, but I am getting a tad worried that I am making a wrong assumption! I think I may develop an ulcer from all my worrying about making a bad decision or a mistake

The Gabriel setting is beautiful and you will be really happy with it. I have no idea what your budget is, but GOG is having a "Falling in love" sale on H&A diamonds right now. You may be able to get a good deal. Plus, if you purchase the diamond and setting from one vendor it will safe you the headache.

But, if you still want to get the stone at JA, your plan will work just fine I think.

Unfortunately only certain H & A diamonds are on sale with GOG. Thanks for the heads up however!

#1 - all rings are made to the specific diamond you buy - so look at the diamond you ordered first before ordering the setting. Once you have confirmed this is it, send the dimensions to GOG and they'll arrange to have the ring made with G&Co. Easy peasy!

#2 - JA does have some similar settings but I'm sure you've already looked through them?
