Does this look like a vintage ring and is it real white gold?

I purchased this ring on ebay a few days ago and am now questioning my purchase. It was listed as a vintage ring and states it is 14 kt. white gold. Inside the band there is a printed word: Tradition 14 K, but other markings except what appears to be a few separate letters that may have been scrawled on the band. Ebay item: 370188644453 How can I really verify that this is vintage, the diamonds are what they claim, and that it is gold without spending a fortune by taking it to a jeweler. I have a 15 day return policy on this item. Thanks.

Hi Tootsie. It looks vintage, probably circa 1950's, and if it is stamped "14k" it most likely is.

As to the diamond quality and the value, you'd have to have an appraiser look at it. If it is as stated (and the carat weights are correct), looks like you probably paid a fair price.
