does photoluminescense dull a stone as fluorescense does

and egl stone cert says it has a slight photoluminescense yet the seller says that it has no fluorescense. any advise would be greatly appreciated

As you have been advised in an earlier thread, photoluminescence = Fluoro.

It seems the dealer thinks the stone has little or none.

Either way I prefer diamonds with a lot more fluoro than slight.
Almost no chance of a medium or slightly fluoro diamond being dull or lacking transperency.

Please use the seearch box for fluoro
 
If the diamond certificate states slight, then that can not mean that it doesn’t have any. In my opinion any laboratory certificate is more of a solid grade than any independent person.
