Does anyone have information about Tacori ''grande'' versions of settings?

Hi everyone -

I am interested in Tacori 2565RD9, which I will attach a photo of. A local Tacori dealer has told me that there are three sizes, or ''versions'' of this setting -

"There are 3 different versions
small holds 6.0 - 6.7 m.m diamond
med holds 7.0-8.5 m.m diamond
large holds 8.7 -10 m.m diamond"

What I''m trying to figure out is if these different ''versions'' simply have larger baskets to hold larger center stones, or if the whole ring is scaled larger or smaller to match the proportions of the center stone (ie: wider band, higher total carat weight, etc.).

If anyone has any information on this it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that not only are the baskets bigger to hold the stones, the bands are a bit wider as well b/c you'd need the stronger structual support to hold the bigger stone.

I have a Tacori, so I think I''m right when I say that the whole ring is scaled back to best showcase a smaller stone; or enlarged to accommodate the larger stone. My ring, as a whole, is slightly smaller than the display model was. Display model had a 1.5 ct center, and mine is a little less than a full ct. For instance, my basket under the center stone is of a smaller scale because of the size of my diamond.

A jeweler who carries Tacori can answer any questions; their website may have a FAQ section; and there is an on-line jeweler named Bill _____? that has an extensive collection of Tacori along with a FAQ section about those designs. If you google Tacori, his full name will come up as a vendor of Tacori rings.

Pearlman I think is who you want. Pearlmans Jewelers, but I don't think they are a Tacori dealer?

ETA: She might mean Bill Barnes now that I am looking it up, but I don't know anything about them as a jeweler...

But Good Old Gold is. You could call them and ask.
