Do you think there is a difference between Tiffany''s sterling silver and other brand'' sterling sil

I mean in terms of the over all quality of their silver.

They were the best of the best a century and a quarter ago. They won the Grand Prize for silver at the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1867. They introduced the .975 sterling silver standard to the U.S.

Nowadays, I don''t know. I''m not sure they even manufacture their own silver any more.
