Do you tend to “vote with your dollar” or “separate art from artist”?

For example, I think what Angelina Jolie puts her children through regarding custody with Brad Pitt - a custody battle that has been going on for YEARS - is so despicable that I can't ever imagine seeing one of her movies. He recently won joint custody and she has vowed to fight on and will "never forgive" him - for wanting to see his own kids!

I haven't bought a Clairol product in over 40 years. Shouldn't matter anymore what happened, but I have very long memory sometimes.

Just putting it out there for all the “I don’t like using Amazon but sometimes still do” folks — I’ve found that if you Google the item or the company that makes the Amazon listing you can usually buy from them directly for the same price or sometimes less. I don’t use Amazon, and admittedly I’m not a huge shopper, but I’m always able to find what I’m looking for another way.

When Nike decided to use Colin Kap (SP) as their spokesperson, I told my son to go buy a new pair of Nike sneakers on me. People said Nike would lose business, so I helped them. ha
