Do you recommend this H SI2 excellent cut -JA.

Planning to get this diamond for my wife for our first anniversary. Is it a good diamond? JA recommended this over an I SI-1 diamond.

Hi Julien

Do you recommend your post over mine? As am I a novice, pls excuse my question: But can I understand why? JA said H color is better than I color. And your diamond is still SI2. What is the factor which makes it better?

That H looks dark. Do you see the difference?

I cant. I can tell the white inclusions on top of the H, whereas I cant tell any of the one you recommend. I am torn.

I think what Julie means is when you look at the H, try to see where the arrows are. Then consider that there are additional patches around the arrows that look dark (steely grey). If you look at the I diamond, you can clearly see the arrows and everything around them is nice and bright.

Wow. The difference between the stone you finally chose and the one you initially posted are night and day!! The cut on that first one was just sad. I'm glad you were steered the right direction. Not that you needed a hearts and arrows stone, but the ones recommended to you were definitely better!
