Do you get taxed on things you sell on Ebay?

Hi there, I've been doing a lot of selling on Ebay lately and I was wondering if you end up getting a year end tax statement from them? Or do you not have to pay taxes since you are selling online? I was just curious as someone mentioned it to me and I hadn't even thought about it.
