Do these diamonds look gray?

I have been eyeing this ring on etsy. Do these diamonds look gray? Or just dirty? Since it is in the UK it would be a pain to send it back. Also size is 8.5. Do you think it could be sized to 7?

The background of the photo looks violet, where it should be white. The stones have that same violet cast. I think it is the lighting. To be safe, I'd ask for a picture in natural indirect light.

To resize it, they'll have to cut off the shank and won't really be able to change the top arc. So, it might feel wide between your fingers if your finger bases touch.

@rockysalamander , yes, the background definitely looks violet on my screen so it could be a lighting issue. However, I think @ceg was wise to pass on this ring.
