Hi PS'ers. I wanted to run these sets of dimensions by you to get some opinions. While diamond A has the better HCA score, diamond B has the more traditional ideal angles. What would be the merits of boths and which would you choose? Thanks!

Stone A
Depth: 59.3%
Table: 58.0%
Measurements: 5.79*5.83*3.44
Crown Angle: 33
Pavillion Angle: 41
HCA: 0.6, EX, EX, EX, EX

Stone B
Depth: 61%
Table: 57%
Measurements: 5.74*5.70*3.49
Crown Angle: 35.5
Pavillion Angle: 40.6
HCA: 1.3, EX, EX, EX, VG

Bump. :wavey:

Diamond A does not have a 'better' HCA score. HCA is pass fail. Any score under 2 is as good as any other score.

If they are AGS0's then the HCA is irrelevant altogether, even if it says 5.

If they are GIA stones then get an idealscope image of them and chose the stone with the better light return from that image.

If they are anything other than AGS or GIA stones you are probably wasting your money.
