Its only $7,000 and its over 2 carats!! Its states its an I3 but it looks pretty good for being an I3...

If it was not Christmas and I had the $$...I would totally buy this ring....

No disrespect but if you look at that closeup shot...ick.

It's not that bad from 12 inches. And the styling is luscious!! I'm such a sucker for that soft light yellow color!!!! I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers!!!!

This comment made me snort out loud in my grad student office. Thanks for making everyone look at me funny, Upgradable!

That is a pretty neat ring. The color of the stone is very lovely.
The close-up shot is pretty interesting... I wonder what magnification that is?

Ditto. From further away I liked it, though! But I will say that lower color diamonds that aren''t fancy yellows usually aren''t crazy expensive from what I''ve seen. I bet you could find something with better clarity from Diamonds by Lauren if you really wanted some yellow bling!

It''s pretty, but that close-up is a little questionable, and I like taking macro pics of my jewelry way too much.

Only a true blue Pricescoper would see this as an obstacle!!!

I agree with others. It''s not great up close but from further away it''s a beauty!

How do you get on the newsletter list?

It is a pretty color, but the return policy of Fay Cullen is quite undesirable.

Close up pictures show some carbon (thus the I3)

Go to the website and there is a subscribe button up at the top. If you are on the list they give you a steeper discount and you can see what they are offering and have a chance to buy it before they are "on the market"....

Hehe, tell me about it!

I''ve been bugging my husband for a DSLR.

He responds with, "for what? Your Canon point and shoot is fine?"
Me: "I just can''t get the decent DOF I want on my jewelry macro shots!

Far away it looks gorgeous. Close up tho, not so. Anyone, with any insight into diamonds, would spot the flaw if the diamond was shown immediately.

Yikes!

I don''t mind the color but I would be afraid of an I3

Okay, I don''t get it. Please help educate me fellow pricescope members. I have seen I2''s and I3''s that have been ranged from eye visible pepper spots, to milky rock salt. THIS stone in the pics looks like it could be eye clean from 12-18 inch arm length viewing. If I3''s look this good then I am overpaying for eye clean VS,SI1,SI2 stones. What am I missing?

Not yellow enough + unattractive clarity + terrible return policy = no thanks.

If your version of eye clean is "can''t see the flaw from three seats away at the dinner table", then yes, you might be overpaying. I think the great majority of us would never consider anything below an eye clean ("can''t see it at all until you''ve squinted for 2 or 3 minutes at 10 inches") SI2.

I3 suck. Sorry, I said it.

That made me laugh out loud!!! Combined with Lauren''s comments about needing to take good macro shots as her determination shows what a mutant breed we''ve evolved into here at Pricescope! I love having all you fellow mutants to understand my compulsions and obsessions!!!!!

No- If you saw the stone as photographed on a hand it would not appear as an I3. My point being the photo most likely looks better then what the buyer will get. But I see that you understood that very well.
