To to way in... it doesn''t sound like a low cost alternative to me.
If it''s online and Target''s brand only-- you can''t try it on. So you''re shooting fish in a barrel there. You can''t negotiate prices or shop around. Target''s shipping is a HUGE pet peeve for me, as it is REALLY high. Plus their return policy suxs.
Well, right now they have free shipping if you spend more than $50.00 in apparel (probably to promote this new line!)
And returns seem to be free, too. (you can return it with a postage-paid label you print from target.com, so I assume YOU don''t pay if it says it''s pre-paid)
I guess I meant it as an alternative to spending a few hundred or few thousand dollars. Their dresses looked to be around $150. I know they''re not silk, but not everyone wants a silk wedding dress.
It''s also nice to be able to try on a normal size for those of us who don''t fit into a sample size and are kind of sick of trying! I thought it was a bit like ordering from jcrew as far as online only availability goes. Or maybe good for those last-minute type weddings.
Of course this is coming from someone who got two silk wedding dresses for under $150 w/o being able to return or try on one of them, so I guess I don''t have a problem with shooting fish in a barrel!
I was looking at some of the Mizrahi dresses recently online and some of them could be really cute BM dresses that are super reasonably priced. As far as I know, you can just return to any target store. I''ve done it before.
I had to go check them out. They wouldn''t be bad for small or destination weddings. A couple were made of silk also. I would definatly want to see it in person first, their pictures are pretty tiny.
I don''t buy my clothes from Target, but they frequently give their leftovers to the local Goodwill. For me, the thrill is in the deal, but there''s no way I would buy something like that on line. I need to see first hand the seams, the quality of workmanship, etc. I wonder how many of the expensive designers have their dress made elsewhere (not in USA)?
