Did I do good? Also, appraiser in San Jose, CA?

I bought the following diamond the other day. I perused these forums quite a bit, and learned a lot more about diamonds than I thought I ever would. However, I still dont quite understand near everything. However, I did know that an AGS Ideal 0 cut grade was the best, so when I found this diamond, I jumped on it. Let me know if I was stupid or not.

I bought it for a touch under 8 grand. Added a 0.51 carat setting and a 0.66 band for 2,700 (Plat)

Bought Online of course. 10% sales tax here is ridiculous.

Also, I will need to bring it to an appraiser in San Jose somewhere. Can anyone recommend someone?

We can''t tell much about a princess cut without images etc., but if it is an AGS0 I think you can rest assured it is a great rock!
