Diamonds mined in US

Does anyone know of any vendors that carry diamonds mined in the United States?

Cant think of any in the US lots in Canada .

There are very few diamonds mined in the US...the only active one that I know of is in Murfreesboro (sp?), Arkansas, and it's mined by the public. You can go there and try your luck for a few $. They do have some very small pieces of rough for sale in the shop there.

Joker, on this board probably goes there more than anyone else who frequents PS, and he has had the luck of finding an unusual reddish brown or brownish red diamond which he had cut.

There are also diamond bearing fields in the region of the Wyoming-Colorado border, and at one time some thought was put into starting a mine, but it was decided that it wasn't economically feasable...it's VERY expensive to mine diamonds...100's of Millions to get started usually.
