DIAMONDS and RUST? question...

So I have to get my diamond mounted (well I don''t have a ring yet to be honest) and right now it''s held by a holder that''s provided by BN. I checked out the diamond again last week and saw that the holder is starting to rust. Would this affect the diamond? Where should I put the diamond now? I''m afraid to just leave it in its case without a holder because I might damage it.

No worries, the rusting metal holder will not affect your diamond at all. You should keep it in there until you have the diamond set into a ring.

The rust will not damage the diamond, but why not stop by a local jeweler and inquire as to whether they will give you a parcel paper - if not, I''d be happy to mail you one...
