Hi all,

I recently purchased a I color Radiant stone, and was wondering what color stones I should be looking at for a wedding band. It''s a very white looking I, but most of the diamonds in wedding bands I''ve seen at B&M''s or online seem to be more like F-G in color. I like the look of eternity, but don''t want diamonds all the way around (3/4ths of the way is good though).

I''m thinking I or J for the wedding band? Does anyone have pictures of their wedding bands with closely colored or not so closely colored diamonds next to their engagement ring?

Also, anyone with an eternity band with cushions, I''d love to see a picture.

Thanks!

-Zack

You do not need to match the color on small diamonds in a wedding band. G will look fine with your I diamond. With your stone being a radiant, I''d probably suggest looking at princess stones for the wedding band.

Ditto, with small sized diamonds I don''t think you''ll see much of a difference in color. I think any shaped diamonds will look nice with your radiant, rounds would be fine too. Whaver you prefer. Facets has some very nice semi-eternity diamond wedding bands in a variety of shapes, sizes, and prices.

I have an I color round stone with an eternity band with f and G stones. My eternity band has fairly large stones, ,28 each, and you cannot see a difference in color. I think smaller stones, such as those in an eternity band, tend to look darker than larger stones because the facets re so close. At least that has been my impression when I look at the rings together

I agree. My EC is an I and my e-band and diamonds in my e-ring are F/G. You cannot tell a difference.

I just purchased a set and my engagement ring is a J while the 5 smaller wedding band diamonds are H and you cannot tell the difference.
