A couple of months ago I posted a topic regarding a diamond that I purchased off of eBay. It arrived and when I had it tested it came back as a synthetic. I just wanted to thank everyone who posted for their time and advice. I really appreciate it. I filed a claim through PayPal and I received a full refund as the seller did not respond to the claim at all.
After a lot of questions and more research on diamonds I ending up purchasing another diamond off of eBay. I know, I guess I''ll never learn. This one was originally purchased from Helzberg Diamonds in Glendale CA.
Here''s the specs from IGI:
Round Brilliant Cut
6.70 - 6.72 x 4.20 MM.
1.22 carats
(H-I)
I1 (but faces up much cleaner, more like an SI2 the jeweler said)
Good/Good
These are all the specs I have on it for now. I''m in the process of requesting an updated report from IGI. I can''t seem to find info on whether it''s cut shallow or deep. Can anyone shed some light on it?
I paid $1295 for it. Which in my opinion is a steal!!
