ok ladies, so a few weeks ago i found an Asscher on BN.com and sent it to my boyfriend just as an example of what i like and what is a good quality stone (best as i could tell without actually laying eyes on it). i have checked in on it a few times since i sent that link to him and it was still available for sale every time i looked. and we had a talk this weekend and i finally gave him two photos of setting that i like (they are almost the same as one another, so now he just has to track it down)

but tonight it said SOLD!!! now i realize it''s a big world out there on the internet, but this is a 1.5 carat Asscher, not the most common choice. what do you think the chances are that he bought it for me???

Hopefully he did buy! In my case I always got so excited when I sent my FF a pic of a diamond and then it said "sold" a day or two after. However, when the months passed and I got no ring I realized it was some other lucky lady who got the diamond I liked

I know exactly how you feel! There was a ring I LOVED on a site. I had shown it to my SO and even gone as far as making it one of my favorites on our Wii so every time he went online via the Wii he would see it glaring at him.

One day I went onto the site to admire the ring and I couldn''t find it. I got very excited. When he suggested a quiet weekend alone less than a week after I noticed the ring was gone, I was practically jumping up and down. Needless to say...the ring is still out there somewhere, just not on my finger.

I am keeping my hopes up for you!!!

...and for all of yous reasons shown above, i am not hanging all of my hopes on it. i know it''s coming, just maybe it''s not that exact stone, which is fine. he''s working on it.

as far as further snooping, i think maybe this is where i should stop nosing around. if he needs help, he''ll talk to my friend at the jewelry store, and if he needs clarification from me on anything, i know he''ll ask.

so, in summary, it''s coming...just maybe will take a few weeks longer. i have waited 30 years, i think i can wait a little while longer.
