I'm in the market for 0.75 - 0.9 cttw studs, ideally AGS0. Wife is color sensitive, so although I'd love to go searching around J/K land, I'm limited to H color or better. Happy with eye-clean SI1. Figure $2500 budget for the stones, but it's OK if I don't spend it all.
Looked around BGD for qualifying stones with IS/ASET/Hearts, saw the following:
0.428 H SI1 Hearts and Arrows Round
0.427 E SI1 Hearts and Arrows Round
0.425 E SI1 Hearts and Arrows Round
0.428 G SI1 Hearts and Arrows Round
plus a pile around .36 - .40 without images, which I'll only get to if the first round doesn't work out.
James Allen has maybe 10 possibles, but nothing with IS, so unless someone is better at reading the numbers, those are second round options as well.
Good Old Gold doesn't look to have anything suitable right now.
Meanwhile, over at Whiteflash,
0.40 ct H SI1 A CUT ABOVE
0.403 ct H VS2 Expert Selection
and
0.367 ct H SI1 A CUT ABOVE
0.368 ct F SI1 A CUT ABOVE
but not much else.
Not sure about the color differences ( E/G, E/H and F/H might be noticeable), so not all pairings are necessarily options.
At first look, many of these seem like perfectly fine stones. Anyone with a more refined sense care to weigh in? Anyone got other vendors I should check?
