Diamond Stud earrings GIA SI2????

I am in the market for a pair. The vender is offering D and E color, but SI2, no Flouresence, VERY Good Cut grade

Does it really matter for earrings on the clarity?
OBviously there is no pic on the cert, since it's small.

RB Total weight is 1.8

As long as they are eye clean. Have you thought about dropping the color down a few grades for a lower price?

Yeah,
I am up for going down to G for the better grade....

I doubt SI2 are eye clean....

I just wasn't sure about it for earrings...

It all depends on your diamond quality preferences. I wouldn't do SI2 for earrings, but there are certainly people here who do. The search is just harder because you have to find ones that are eye clean. I'd go down in color and up in clarity if it was me. I'd much rather have G-H VS2 over D-E SI2. But the number one requirement for me was that the stones be excellent cut. I just personally wouldn't spend thousands of dollars on diamonds that weren't high quality overall.
