My boyfriend and I want to do some diamond shopping in Antwerp for my engagement diamond. As non-wholesale customers, where can we find a listing of possible retailers that cater to the private customer? Any help would be greatly appreciated as we don''t know where to start looking. Thanks!!!

I am at home right now and do not have Paul Sleggers email in front of me. He was known as Paul Antwerp on DT but I have not been here enough to know if he has a name here. If you email me at [email protected] I will return email you with his address. He cuts a great brand of H&A quality stones and will be able to direct you to some reliable retailers there in Antwerp. He may even be able to work with you directly, but I am not privey to that part of his business.

I will be here much more often now, and will soon have a better handle on who is here and what their Pricescope names are, but for now I can tell you that you will have a great trip to Antwerp. It is a beautiful city and the people and the food there are wonderful!

Thanks Leonid, it is good to see that my friend Paul is a regular here. He is talking about coming out to visit me in May, and I hope he does, it has been much too long since I have seen him, although I sell many of his stones here in the States.

I enjoyed seeing that thread and the respect with which Paul is treated here. So, Bora, if you visit the thread you will see that Paul is indeed a great person for you to visit with while you are in Antwerp. I hope that the experience that you have will be as great as the one in that thread.

You will have a great story to tell your children of how you went to the story book beautiful city of Antwerp and visited the factory where your diamond was cut and perhaps even that you saw your diamond as a rough crystal or an ugly duckling before it was recut into the incredible beauty that you now wear.
