Happy new year all!
I am considering another ring project and will probably use a modern round. I want to set the stone in a bezel in a wide band. I am curious to know how bezel setting might effect different makes. I know that it is often noted that bezel setting increases contrast. Is fire and scintillation also effected? Are there specific observable differences I should be aware of between 60/60, BIC, TIC, or FIC proportion sets when bezel setting?
