Looking for a pear dismond 0.82 to 0.98 carat ..colour D, vs2 or si1 clarity, platinum band , very good or excellent cut.

Uk cant find cheaper than diamond heaven, online cannot find cheaper than enchanted diamonds

Any experience or advice appreciated on these 2 vendors. Or any tips on proportions and the 4c etc

From visiting a store I found after cut colour was what made them sparkle most..... Clarity being the least important as I saw a si2 for 4500k with D colour look better than a VVS1 for 12000k . He even gave me the loupe to look at the si2 and it was fine, it the colour D side by side was massive . She won't be looking at it with a loupe

Are you open to buying from the US? Many well respected vendors here can call in stones for you and work them up with light reflector technologies and videos to show their performance and personalities. I'd personally look at Good Old Gold and James Allen. GOG will bring things in, as will JA, but JA has a lot of videos on stones already, so you have somewhere to start.

Don't compromise on cut quality - that's what makes it sparkle. And a well cut stone will face up whiter and larger than a poorly cut one because of the way the light reaches all corners of the stone and reflects back out.
