I'm looking at a couple of different diamonds that I 'm looking at:

.49 ct Round diamond, GIA Cert, H color, SI1 clarity, Ideal cut, Depth 61.3%, Table 57%, Symmetry-Excellent, Polish-Excellent, Girdle-Thin to Medium, Cutlet-None, Flourescence-None, Measurements-5.08 x 5.10 x 3.12mm for $1,058 Crown 35.2 or 15.3% Pavillion 40.1 or 42.3%

.48ct Round diamond, AGSL cert, H color, SI1 clarity, Ideal cut, Depth 61.4%, Table 56%, Symmetry-Ideal, Polish-Ideal, Girdle-Thin to Medium, Cutlet-None, Flourescence-None, Measurements-5.04 x 5.06 x 3.10mm for $1,061 Crown 35.25%, Pavillion 42.9%

.48 ct Round diamond, GIA cert, G color, VS2 clarity, Premium cut, Depth 61.7%, Table 59%, Symmetry-Very Good, Polish-Very Good, Girdle-MD-STK, Cutlet-None, Flourescence-Faint, Measurements-4.97 x 5.04 x 3.09mm for $1,167

Thank you for your help,
Mike

The first two could be very nice. I''d eliminate the 3rd right off just because the table''s out of the ideal range. We''d need a bit more info, though (crown and pavilion data) to really judge.

I just called Blue Nile and will have the information soon.

Thanks for the help!

I agree with Hest88; the first two look to have potential, but definitely eliminate the 3rd stone.

Compared to the first two, it has inferior polish/symmetry, a table outside AGS0 range, and faint fluor. Whie faint fluor isn''t a problem, that and the other element should LOWER the price of the stone compared to the other two. Not only isn''t the price lower, it''s HIGHER than the others.

I have updated the first two diamonds for the crown and pavillion numbers.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the PM.

The first two still look pretty good and I think it''s pretty much a toss-up.
