Destination Wedding

I have a few questions about planning a destination wedding.

The resort I will be staying at has a list of add ons and what they would cost....

Example:
Favors--Start at $10.00
Decorations: Start at $100.00

etc.

For destination weddings, is it a few things that they have, or can I personalize it more with things I want, and they take care of getting the items in that price range--or more obviously I would be responsible for bringing them with me to the island?

I would say you would have to discuss that with your venue, I think each and every venue is different to how much they are willing to accommodate the bride.

I agree with Deelight. Also wanted to add that for our DW we brought our own favors, gift bags, etc. as the cost for the resort to do it would have been atronomical. And for personalized things I wanted to make sure to get exactly what we wanted so we did that ourselves. We did get "add-ons" like a decorated archway and chair covers that weren''t included in our wedding package, which I ended up deciding about at the last minute but I am so glad I did. But yeah, definitely discuss with the venue coordinator about the specifics, I am sure that they will accomodate you.
