Depends on how clean your need your diamonds to be. I love that stone and those inclusions would not bother me, but I can't tell you if they'll bother you.

Thanks! I really love the stone too, I think it looks very white for an I color and an OMC is something I thought would be out of reach for me! It's even UNDER budget!

I am a big fan of Yoram-cut cushions - in fact I have a smaller I-color cushion coming my way this week from DBL - but I think this is for your ER, right? As it is graded in-house, if I were you, I'd call up DBL and ask to speak with David - tell him candidly this is to be the center stone for your ER, be frank about your own clarity preferences, and then ask him to comment about the inclusions. If you are still interested in the stone after the phone conversation, you can always purchase the stone loose and have it sent to you, so you can inspect it with your own eyes and in different lighting conditions to see if it would work for you.

Thanks, Marymm! Your advice is really helpful. It is for my engagement ring and as such, I'll likely be staring at it quite a lot. Do you know if they allow store visits to see the stone? I'm only about two hours from Manhattan and could easily take a trip up to see the stone in person.

I do think you can make an appointment to visit DBL - maybe when you call to make the appointment and tell them the specific stone you're interested in, you could ask for your visit that they please also pull any other cushions they have in stock that meet your diamond/budget criteria. Good luck!

Well, I hope you bought it - as it's listed as "Sold" now. Yoram does beautiful work. Unfortunately, people lurk and snatch diamonds-so it's always good to have a diamond on hold prior to asking about it. Although, I don't think David holds stones.
