Daniel M vs. JanishJewels

If any of you own bezeled pieces by both, who do you think makes the better looking bezel?
I would consider JKT but I don't think I could take the wait!

I have not used either but after taking a very quick look at both ( just a few items) I'd go with Janish. Nice stuff in both stores though.

That's too bad! Jill's bezels look so clean but Daniel M's look good as well. I probably would have recommended Jill's, more because she has so many on her website and they're easy to get a close look at. Daniel M's are harder to see but they seem very well done.

Unfortunately, the only experience I have is with JKT-- her bezels are amazing and she works with all those colors of gold, but you've already said that the wait would be too much... so I suggest Daniel M

I dig Daniel M. The bezels on my earring drops look pretty dang awesome to me!

I would go with the vendor who makes the exact style that I want. I think the results are best when you can point to a design and say "I want mine to look just like that". You know you are going with the vendor's strengths, and it keeps a long distance transaction simple.

Off PS, I've heard her bezels are inconsistent from some people that have purchased from her. Sometimes a bezel is well done, and sometimes it isn't. I've not been too happy with some of the bezels I've seen her do in photographs. I think James Myer does fantastic bezels from what I've seen, but he no longer accepts outside stones.

I didn't know James Meyer wasn't doing outside stones anymore. Thats a shame.
I love the spess ring he did for me.

I just got my Wyoming jade ring from Jill and I will post pics as soon as my droid is charged up and the right light is happening. I like Jill's work very much, she set my 7.5 ct star ruby and now this piece of Wyoming jade. She did an aces job on them both and she is faster than the speed of light. Unusual to get quality AND speed...

I have to chime in, because although I have had DanielM make me a couple of things, none were bezels
Until now
I ordered some Rainbow Bezels for my office gals and let me tell you,
they are UNBELIEVABLE!
The bezeling is wonderful, I am extremely pleased with them!
