Daniel has a cz line on a home shopping channel. I am sort of shocked that a high end designer knows less about diamonds than the avg pricescoper. Daniel said the only difference between a princess cut and radiant cut- is the radiant has clipped corners. He then went on to say that a D IF 3ct stone would cost $50k. I wonder if I called up his company to order one- they would honor his price as a quote???

Hi,

Daniel K is the least knowledgable of all the designers that HSN shows. On two separate shows he said his design(the U shaped semi-mounts) were copy-righted. He apparentely doesn't hold patents, but copy-rights. The hosts didn't correct him either.

It was funny. So, it doesn't surprise me he doesn't know what things cost, or he doesn't have much to do with 3 ct stones.
