Just finished watching the Dallas memorial for the five fallen officers, which I recorded. Overall a nice service . There were many inspiring moments. One of my favorites was President Bush who said, "Too often we judge other groups for their worst examples, while we judge ourselves by our best intentions."
President Obama is a gifted orator, and there were some great moments from him. However, it was disappointing to hear him go political. So inappropriate for a memorial. No need to discuss gun control and BLM in that setting. No need to mention the MN and LA incidents multiple times. The President has plenty of other opportunities for those discussions.
