Custom Ring Advice

Hi all!

So I’m in the process of getting an engagement ring to propose with and was wondering if anyone could recommend designers for a custom ring.

I already have a .77 Diamond from family, and know I want something along the lines of a Vintage Cathedral setting in yellow gold. I really prefer when the prongs holding the diamond are incorporated into the design in some way as well.

I’d also be interested in advice on good places to go in San Francisco for ring hunting, just in case I can find something that I like without having to do custom.

Lots of places in the SF Giftcenter to look for settings, I'm not sure that they set outside stones, but it doesn't hurt to call and ask. Thinking Derco, Edwards, Padis, etc.

I recommend Caysie VanBebber, CVB Inspired designs on Etsy. She makes beautiful custom settings. For San Francisco, try Lange Antiques. David Klass makes beautiful settings as well.
