Custom Halo Diamond Studs!!! Yipee!

I had so much fun with these studs! They''re GIA triple ex, J SI1s from Mark Turnowski at ERD. Love him!
I had the settings custom made in platinum -- from a local NY jeweler because we just hit it off one day. I walked into her store to buy a ruby eternity band in platinum and saw this setting that I had to have, too! They are so sparkly!!!!

Total weight: 3.2 carats
Center stones only tcw: 1.57 carats

Hahahahaha! You can see I took pics as SOON as I came home and DH''s jeans are thrown behind the box! Very messy because he''s been home with the flu and he made a huge mess. Love him. LOL. Poor baby!

Here's the inspiration pic - we made it so that there was as LITTLE platinum showing as possible. All of the diamonds are set very tightly so all you see are diamonds and no metal. And we changed the idea from hooks to studs. Also, we eliminated the end prongs to make it less flower-like. This one seemed a little dated with the pointed prongs. It was fun! She also had the prongs made into claws, which was a nice surprise!

They are martini setting, so you can see they lie very flat next to the ear!

Gorgeous earrings! Didn't even see the jeans since I was so blinded by the sparkle. I love how you updated them by making them look less like flowers. Wow!
