for wf customers, or john q if he''s around:
i am considering doing a custom engagement ring in the near future. i am fairly certain i will be getting the center stone from whiteflash, but i am not sure that i will have them do a custom (1) because i am not sure if doing a custom setting at all is in my budget and (2) i dont know how their prices for a custom setting stack up to others''.
quoting their site:
"So that there is complete understanding of the custom piece being designed, the customer will provide Whiteflash with pictures and/or a sketch of the work proposed. When these things are understood we will e-mail an order confirmation with exact price. The customer will need to approve the order confirmation before we proceed with any work."
is there any way i could send information to them and have them send me a rough (as close as possible) estimate for such a piece, without getting an official order confirmation or committing myself to the piece? or does wf''s "order confirmation" actually just serve this purpose - to inform the customer of the price before the customer commits to anything specific?
thanks so much
