Cushion vs. Round Brilliant

I can''t seem to find information on this site....wondering about brilliance of a cushion vs. a round brilliant. Tend to like the more squarish cushion cuts rather than the rectangular ones. Would a lot of fire be lost choosing such a cut over a RB of similar quality?

Normally rounds are considered to be the most brilliant, but choose your cushion with care and you can get a nice display of fire and brilliance. A beautifully cut cushion can lend itself to fire particularly well if the lighting is right. Much depends on the 2 diamonds being considered as to whether the round or cushion would be the most firey, I suppose it is hard to predict as there are sets of proportions one can choose to try to get more fire or brilliance in the round, but not so much with fancy shapes or cushions, however possibly you could win in the fire department with a cushion .
