We really can't say much without pictures of the diamond ( cushions need to be seen to be judged.) If you could get an ASET image also, that would be very useful too. I saw from your other thread the table is 66% and the depth 65%, which is a start, but not enough info to make an informed choice.Date: 3/21/2008 12:42:45 PM

My photos on the link are heavy, but if you wait a bit to load it will work. I just tried again.

Dear forum experts, I apologize for the mistakes. I am just trying to learn from you and get expert advise to avoid buying the wrong diamond. I hope you understand..

Thank you!
Does that mean if it is in your suggested standards...3K is a fair price?
Woudl you mount it in a halo or solitaire with pavet?

There would be no contest for me, the GOG diamond would definitely be my choice and the I colour should be fine with a well cut cushion.Date: 3/21/2008 2:12:13 PM

Guys, here is another option. Which one do you think is the best diamond?
Cut and sparkle would make a difference for her.
Thanks again,
Alex
An I colour is plenty white for most people, GOG have an excellent return policy if you need to use it, but an I in a well cut cushion will not be yellowish. It may be a softer white than a D or E, but still white in my opinion. I would think it would look whiter than the original diamond which is an H, in my opinion, due to the cut quality.Date: 3/21/2008 2:13:41 PM

Also, she does not like 'yellowish stones'.
