Cost of Platinum Flat Curb 25'' 5mm

I've been working with a jeweler on trying to get this chain off the ground for a while now. The initial specs was a 25'' 5mm miami cuban. They got back to me quoting 6K, at a weight of 101 grams (it includes a 1x1 circular pendant but I was told that barely added to the price). So I thought that was too much, and they told me if I did a flat curb link it would be more or less around 5K since the weight would be a lot less. Now I'm waiting around for the new price and weight quote, it's been 2 weeks, very frustrating especially since they have some money down already.

Does anyone know what a good price would be for the curb link and any other jeweler that works with platinum they would recommend? Thanks.
