FYI, since so many folks seem to be interested in this method/result of faceting - a large variety of these stones are now widely available in 6-12mm sizes and most shapes in garnet, topaz, aqua, peridot, tourmaline, amethyst, citrine, etc.

They don''t compare with Richard Homer''s custom cuts, so don''t expect miracles, but many look very nice.

Here is a small sample of as few cushions - sorry for the poor quality photo...
