Not sure about Mondera, but Blue Nile has their own Signature stones. A lot of vendors (including ones commonly mentioned on PS) offer ''virtual stones'' that they can call in to look at if the stones look good on paper. I think what aljdewey is getting at is that many of these companies do not have things like sarin, or a particular set of known and trusted eyes, or can offer idealscope pics.Date: 11/7/2006 12:17:59 AM

I believe both Mondera and Blue Nile are drop-shippers (meaning the diamonds they sell are not held in inventory on-location).
So if you''re interested in talking with a salesperson by phone who has the actual stone in their hands to discuss the clarity, etc. you may not want to go with those vendors.
On the other hand they tend to have good prices as they are high volume businesses. The fact that they drop-ship probably allows them to save operating costs that would otherwise be tied up in inventory.

I am also doing my research, my final four are Mondera, Blue Nile, Shenoa Diamonds, Jewelry Television.
I am interested to hearing the feedback on these different companies as well.
