I've been working 110% compared to pre-COVID; your poll is flawed for not having that as an option. The business I'm working at is an Essential Business, and I've been assigned HR duties, so I've got more work to do in communicating with employees.
Haha same. In addition to my usual hours of clinical duties, my non clinical responsibilities have sky rocketed. So. Many. Emails. And meetings that should have been emails...
This coronavirus thing has made me question my decision not to become a third-generation doctor. I just decided it wasn't work that would be interesting to me. However, times like these make me wish I were able to help out. It's just that, were I to start the training right now, it's going to be years before I can make a difference, especially since I don't think the MCAT is being administered right now, and the coronavirus will be over by then. Not being able to fight on the frontlines myself, I wish the best for you and your colleagues in the ER and other inpatient services!
