100%, 50?, 0%?

Note: This poll applies only to you personally, not to a spouse or other family members.
This 24 month poll is set up so you can come back and change your vote in the future if your employment changes.

No change for me as I was working part time from home before Covid-19, and shall continue to do so now.

DK :))

Been working 100% for the last two weeks. I hope it stays 100%.

I've been working 110% compared to pre-COVID; your poll is flawed for not having that as an option. The business I'm working at is an Essential Business, and I've been assigned HR duties, so I've got more work to do in communicating with employees.

I'm still working.
The good thing is that I have always only worked in tandem with one other person the majority of the time and have no direct interaction with the public.
So far, so good.

Haha same. In addition to my usual hours of clinical duties, my non clinical responsibilities have sky rocketed. So. Many. Emails. And meetings that should have been emails...

I need a More Than 100% option. Maybe call it "All The Fvcking Time."

I usually work 3 days a week. Now I am working 7 days and many many more hours every day than normal. Even over the weekends.

Believe me, I'm EXTREMELY grateful to have a job right now, but the dread I feel ever time I see an email from my boss or see his name pop up on my phone grows ever day...

This coronavirus thing has made me question my decision not to become a third-generation doctor. I just decided it wasn't work that would be interesting to me. However, times like these make me wish I were able to help out. It's just that, were I to start the training right now, it's going to be years before I can make a difference, especially since I don't think the MCAT is being administered right now, and the coronavirus will be over by then. Not being able to fight on the frontlines myself, I wish the best for you and your colleagues in the ER and other inpatient services!

Haha thanks. I know how you feel. I’m wishing I had completed a critical care fellowship right about now. I think we all wish we could do more to help.

Is it 100% because nothing has changed for me, or 0% because I don't work outside the house anyway? Probably 0%. To dumb to reason this out.

I'm actually working *more*, because I'm working from home now, and not spending time commuting. But I also have kids at home (schools closed), so this is getting stressful. I will need to find ways to balance my days better.

BUT - grateful to have my job and income during this difficult time.

Ugh, less than 10% which really stinks but I haven't been given any new work to do from home. On one hand it's great working for this company because they are very laid back but it is a double edged sword.

I’m going to say 90%. I just started working from home for the majority of the week. I’m still doing the same amount of work but it’s being done in my pajamas and I’m barely brushing my hair (let alone doing my makeup). So... 90% seems fair.

Technically I am doing 100% of the work I was doing before Coronavirus kicked off - I was unemployed then and I'm still unemployed... lol

If you include work other than paid employment, I have been spending ridiculous hours helping a friend with Family Court stuff - 61 hours straight over the weekend, as per my recent thread! :(

Overall I think I'm working less but it's much harder since I have a four year old at home.

im the same too as ive been taking a break from the workforce
but for me personally its awful timing (no timing with this virus is good timing for any one)but i had found a job to apply for i would have loved and beleaved i would have had a good shot at getting it
my bank balance is not healthy

I think I'm working maybe longer hours but some of my usual tasks don't exist anymore (ie. face to face meetings!) so there is slightly less to do in that regard so I put 90%.

I feel like I work more now that I work from home. I work plus taking care of my 9-mo old baby girl. I am much busier because of her. But happy because I still have a job, therefore, an income. My bosses took a pay cut so we can get paid and not lose our job. So I don't mind working more. The bosses also think that this situation will continue through June 1. So they want us to set an office at home.

Same as ever before. I'm in tech so....something, something, we're essential?

I’m working more than before coronavirus - I work for a telco and while we had pretty extensive BCP, I’m not sure we had what we needed for a pandemic. We’ve enacted it for earthquakes but this is the first for a pandemic! So there’s been a lot to do for customers and staff.

I have closed my doors for a temporary period of time, till it’s safe to open.

it would be a min of a month... but others speculations 6mo. Who knows.

Not working at all, no paycheck. Luckily hubby makes good money and he is working from home. I’m thinking maybe mid May we go back?

I was working in retail and am now laid off. So 0%

100% +....I am also in an essential business. (Commercial Banking) so extremely busy helping our customers!!!

Working from home means no clinic/research visits for me (my work is "non essential"). So I'm working less, but still working! I think as I start to 'adjust' to working from home and get a proper home office set up it will go up from the 70% that I'm at now to the 100% I'm used to. But I miss patient contact so so much! Of course safety is the top priority and I support the local gov't decisions to close down all non essential stuff, but man it's hard!

Company just announced a salary reduction across the board to stave off letting anyone go.

Over 100%. Working 7 days a week, basically non-stop and all hours.

Double the usual. I’m a chemical engineer doing R&D. My province is converting manufacturing to essential goods and medical supplies.

This is a logistical nightmare and everyone involved is working all hours to make it happen.

I work for a consumer products company. We are crazy busy. I had a home office before this. working from home is not new. I consider this job a true blessing. I love what I do, even when it’s crazy.
