choose this diamond out of a handful that i saw in person and it was definitely eye clean to me.
what do you think?

Could be a very nice diamond, check carefully it is eyeclean to your standards. Also do you know what the grade setting inclusion is, for example a feather? This should be noted on the plotting diagram of the report.

the main inclusion i was able to see on the scope was a decent sized crystal in the center under the table, but i was not able to see it with me bare eyes. i was looking at a SI1 E color that had inclusions i was able to see, I was not able to see the inclusions on the the SI2 D color however.

That sounds fine. See if you can check it out away from the store lights as sometimes inclusions can pop out in some lights more than others to be absolutely sure.
