Saw this one FB, idk if it's real, but it would be amazing with all the sapphires!

Cool!

I couldn't find anything indicating the color of the sapphires is of natural origin or the result of treatment, or whether the material itself was lab-grown or mined.

What do you guys think?
Today do we assume that colored stones are not fully natural, even if from a company with a high-end image and reputation?

The Tiffany colored stones aren't fully natural... I personally don't hold Rolex above Tiffany...

Many high end places do not fully disclose treatment.

Agree with Chrono. Many of them don't care if its treated or not, as long as its beautifull and looks impressive.

If I am reading this correctly, Tiffany sells diffused and clarity enhanced sapphires but doesn't say so anywhere else unless you take the time to read their booklet? So how does the buyer know if his/her stone is heat only versus diffused and / or clarity enhanced?

CORUNDUM
Ruby, Star Ruby
Heated to improve color and clarity. Infused with colorless substances to improve color and clarity.

Blue, Color Change, Colorless, Green, Orange, Padparadscha, Pink, Purple, Star and Yellow Sapphire
Heated and/or diffused to improve color and clarity. Infused with colorless substances to improve color and clarity.

I'm not surprised. Most mass produced jewelry with sapphires probably use treatments. I bet it's hard to source large amounts of perfectly colored tiny stones that all match. I don't love the idea either, but I bet it's true across the board.

Yup. For them it's all about how the finished product looks.
