Hi everyone,
I am new to posting here, but have a question I hope someone can help me out with.
I have done a little research on color treated diamonds and am attracted by the price.
I have read the color can come out over time, but when buying colored diamond, whether pink, blue, or yellow (i am leaning towards pink), its best to purchase them for earrings, and then the treatment will never come out.

I saw some good prices and quality on ebay from a few sellers and also saw a nice pair of pink diamond studs on a few website.
One I saw today was at yakiradiamonds.com, 2.00 ct pink diamonds for $3999?
Is that price too good to be true for pink diamonds, even if treated?

What is the price I should pay, and what do you think about the color treatments?
Thanks in advance,
Lucy

That seems really cheap, but admittedly I know nothing about treated diamonds. I''ll give your thread a bump and hopefully someone knowledgeable will chime in!

I''m curious as to the reason your research said the treatment wouldn''t come out of stones used as earrings...

I think those diamonds are coated diamonds, thus likely to wear off. Irradiated diamonds'' color are permanent.
