Color guide in fancy shapes?

[Cravin My Emerald cut]

All the photos I see illustrating diamond color are in round stones. Does anyone have a link to a site that shows diamond color (pavillion up) in fancy shapes? I''m especially interested in seeing this illustrated in step cuts.

Dont have pics, but 2 schools of method

1. do thin side (less colour) then do thick long length - usually more colour, and average the colour.
2. my preferred method - turn the stone so it sits on one point or corner - and you see more like a round effect.

impossible too say... 1: the white balance is different in each shot. 2: no frame of reference
3: even with proper WB a picture doesn''t show true color because its different on every monitor.

Thats my point exactly..., thats why I am asking...
But..., according to your vision..., what color does it look to you (average out the 3 images...)?
