clarity enhanced, laser drilled etc

Thinking about ordering online, and wondered how can you be guaranteed a diamond that is not clarity enhanced, laser drilled, fractured filled or chemically treated? Do you suggest any websites that specifically state that they do not carry these diamonds???

You will be safe with the major internet vendors including those listed on Pricescope and those stones which come with a AGS or GIA certificate since AGS/GIA do not grade clarity enhanced/laser drilled diamonds.

Another good idea is to make the final sale conditional on a satisfactory appraisal by an independent appraiser. You'll need one for insurance purposes anyway, more or less, so it's a good chance to check out what you're buying and make sure you're getting what you expected and what you hoped for
