Chrysoprase beads

I can't afford the jadeite, but can anyone point to me someone who sells comparable 7 mm chrysoprase beads? All the beads I have seen have much grayer than I would like. I like the color above.

He may have something that may fit the bill.

The best Chrysophrase is coming out of Australia - so maybe if you google "Australian Chrysophrase" that will give you some leads. Gem shows can be a good source, but you are looking for gem quality chrysophrase, not just bead quality.

The problem here is that the marlborough mines were bought by Chinese interests; the rising Chinese middle class is very fond of the ersatz Jade, so ALL of the production is shipped straight away to China. The west as we know it may never see this material again.
