After a few false starts, we finally have some CADs and a rough wax. This is version 3 of the CADs.

ETA: The ring will be made in platinum. The indentations after the melee are for yellow gold wraps around the band.

But. Will you be able to see those gold wraps once the ring is on your finger? They look very far down, as if the neighboring fingers will cover the wraps.

Stone Hunter: They probably will be covered by my other fingers but I rather like the look of the 5 melee rather than 4.

Oh I meant the gold wraps not the melee...I too like the look of 5 melee. This ring is going to be a stunner!!

Gorgeous! and close to my heart. I had thought of the traps to go with my square tsavorite. Hadn''t thought about adding rb''s on the side. Can''t wait to see how it turns out.

It''s all done and in my hands and it''s gorgeous! I went into this process not knowing really what I wanted for a setting; I sent Brian a file of about 10 different inspiration pieces. He was very patient in talking me through what I really wanted and didn''t want. And Lesley of course is always a doll. I''m not sure how she survives on so little sleep.

That’s just super. It reminds me of a yellow diamond and the setting goes well with it. Excellent setting from BGD as usual.
