Well after numerous trips (and I mean numerous) to the local jewelers here in the bay area, and after thinking I had finally narrowed it down to 2 diamonds to choose between-and posting the specs on the site here for people''s comments, only to have the two diamonds (2 differend times) analyzed and people say I should really look at buying online. I think I am going to go in that direction. But first, I wanted some final comments on the stone I have chosen and the price it is.
And really I was just excited to share the news that I am making this purchase Online when I never thought in the world that I could do that for this big of purchase, and it is all because of PS.
So the Specs are:
1.24 GSI1 GIA Cert Date: 7/08/04
COST: $6500
Sarin Report
1.24ct. All 0 Crown 34.3
Pavillion 40.6
Depth 60.3
Table 57.2
Culet 0.5
Polish X
Symmetry X
Flourescence: None
The diamond has a feather off to the side, (Mark 2 Engagement Rings Direct says 1/2 of it can be covered with a prong), but With hard examination and looking at the right spot I can see this feather with my naked eye. I have looked at the stone (had it shipped to me) and I took it to a local. He said that he would say to someone that the stone was eye clean, yet I could still see it. It has great brilliance and the Local confirmed that it is a great stone (surprisingly).
Anyone ever dealt with Mark, and how does this diamond LOOK???
PS. It will be set in a Micahel B, flat pave'' ring- Mark able to help on that as well, a huge PLUS
.
Thanks and I look forward to your reply
